Vern White considering running for a seat in the House of Commons

From Police Chief to senator to... Member of Parliament?

Former Ottawa Police Chief, Vern White, may be considering leaving the senate.

According to a report from CTV, the senator will be taking a few days to consider a run at the seat in Carleton-Mississippi Mills.

There have been rumblings on Parliament Hill that Gordon O'Connor is considering not running in the next election.

Vern White was appointed to the senate by Prime Minister Stephen Harper in 2012.
