Christopher Hoare's lawyers will be meeting with the Crown and a judge today for a bail review hearing, a chance to look over last month's bail ruling for the Orleans real estate agent.
Hoare is charged with the attempted murder of his wife last month and was denied bail by a justice of the peace.
That ruling is covered by a publication ban and today's meeting is not open to the public. Hoare himself won't be there.
He is next due in court by video Wednesday, May 28.
Hoare is accused of trying to kill his wife at their Orleans home.
Police say Hoare's wife was beaten and someone had tried to suffocate her.
