Three Ottawa teens are in police custody facing charges of robbery, attempted abduction and possessing dangerous weapons.
Ottawa Police say there were two separate incidents where a group of men jumped out of a approached and robbed men who were walking alone at 2:30 and 3:30 am May 18.
In both cases the victims were assaulted but not injured. One victim told police one of the men was carrying a firearm.
Police say they were called to investigate both robberies and while investigating the second they recognized the van was stolen and they arrested three 17-year-old men.
They're due to appear in court Friday May 23.
