Man being sought in drug store holdup

Ottawa police are asking for the public`s help in identifying the man who held up a pharmacy on Bank Street last week.

Police say the man entered the pharmacy near Sunnyside on May 19th and produced a note demanding drugs.

While he indicated to staff he was armed, no weapon was seen.

He escaped on a bicycle.

The man is described as a white male in his late 40s or early 50s, standing about six feet tall, and clean shaven.

He was wearing sunglasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, a black baseball cap, a black t-shirt with the AC-DC band logo on the front, black gloves, blue jeans, and white sneakers. 

He was riding a black hybrid or mountain style bicycle.
