Woman critically injured in Clarence-Rockland crash

An unidentified 39 year old woman has been airlifted to hospital, suffering from life-threatening injuries, following a single-vehicle accident east of the city Thursday morning.

Rockland O.P.P. say the car the woman was driving ran off Duquette Road just east of Clarence Creek and rolled into the ditch shortly after 6 a.m.

Clarence-Rockland fire crews had to cut her free before paramedics could get to her.

Police continue their investigation.
