Overbrook fire leaves four homeless

Four people are looking for another place to live after a basement fire in Overbrook Friday morning.

Fire crews were called to a duplex in the 400 block of St. Mary Street around 6:20 a.m.

They quickly extinguished the flames, but not before $60-thousand in damage.

One person was taken to hospital for treatment of minor smoke inhalation.

Firefighters also rescued the family cat and dog -- they used oxygen to revive the cat.

The cause is still under investigation.
