Folk rock singer Serena Ryder is among the Canadian artists headlining the Canada Day festivities on Parliament Hill.
The lineup for the noon and evening shows will also include BC pop rock group Marianas Trench and Quebec R and B singer Nadja.
In the afternoon, visitors will be able to an enjoy 1930s and 1940s style swing dancing.
The main event at noon will feature a flypast of CF-18 fighter jets and the Snowbirds Demonstration Team.
Canada Day this year will highlight the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War, the 75th anniversary of the beginning of the Second World War, the end of the mission in Afghanistan, and the 150th anniversary of the Charlottetown and Quebec Conferences.
