Two teens extricated in roll-over collision

Ottawa Paramedics have treated three people for injuries following a collision on Eagleson Road at Cope Drive around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Paramedics say two young women, 17 and 18 years old, were taken to hospital with soft tissue injuries and were listed as being in good condition. They had to be extricated from their car, which was severely damaged after rolling over once and coming to rest on its wheels.

Fire crews helped with the extrication. They had to remove both passenger-side doors and the centre post of the car to get the passenger out.

A third person, a 64-year-old woman, was treated at the scene but didn't need to go to the hospital.

Police are investigating.
