Four people rescued after boat capsizes

Ottawa and Gatineau fire crews were called to rescue four people who had fallen into the Deschene Rapids after their boat capsized Sunday afternoon.

The family of four is doing well after their boat flipped over when the motor stopped working around 2:30p.m.

Emergency crews got the call to rescue two adults and two children.

Bystanders rescued the woman and two children but the man was still in the water. Gatineau Fire Crews rescued him.

The family, from Hull, was taken to hospital as a precaution but there were no serious injuries.
