Police seek suspect in two robberies

Ottawa police are looking for the public's help in locating a suspect believed to have been involved in two recent holdups in the city.

Early on the morning of June 5th, a man carrying a large knife and a kerchief over his face held up a gas station on Bronson near Chamberlain.

He had apparently cased the place just before the robbery.

Then early last Friday morning, the same suspect allegedly robbed a convenience store on Bank near Fifth Avenue.

No one was injured in either incident.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, between 25 and 35 years of age, standing about 5' 10" and of medium build.

He had short dark hair, and a dark moustache and goatee.
