Police seek 2 female suspects in hoax bomb case

Ottawa Police need your help finding two female suspects in relation with a suspicious package incident.

Police say the two left a hoax explosive device that was found inside the McDonald's Restaurant on Rideau Street downtown around 11:15p.m. Monday.

The bomb squad was called in and businesses that are normally open overnight were forced to shut down as they investigated. Police cleared the scene around 2 a.m.

The first female is described as white, 18-25 years old. She has a thin build with long straight dark hair. She was wearing a white top, beige shorts, flip flops and a pink backpack.

The second woman is described as black, 18-25 years old, with a thin or medium build and dark thick curly hair.
