Pilot crashes small plane into a tree

A lone-pilot was rushed to hospital after he crashed an ultra-light plane into a tree just north of Trenton, Ontario.

The OPP were called to the Frankford Airport on Saturday around 7 p.m. after reports of a downed aircraft.

The 42-year-old pilot from Stirling, Ontario suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries in the crash.

Transport Canada was called in to investigate along with the OPP.
