As the temperature soars this weekend you'll want to check to see if it's safe to swim at your favourite local beach.
Ottawa Public Health tests the water at the city's five public beaches daily.
On days with high levels of e-coli bacteria in the water they will fly a red flag and a green flag when it's safe for you to take a dip.
Currently, red flags are flying at Mooney's Bay, Petrie Island East Bay Beach and Petrie Island River Beaches.
The all clear was given to Britannia Beach and Westboro Beach.
