Man crashes sea-doo on Ottawa River

A 26-year-old man was taken to hospital after crashing his sea-doo into a parked boat on the Ottawa River, near Constance Bay, on Saturday night.

Emergency crews were initially called in for a water rescue after a caller reported hearing a 'thud' and screams for someone to call 911.

When they arrived they found the man on shore, he had been rescued from the water by a friend and he was complaining of head injuries, saying he felt woozy.

He was taken to hospital with serious head trauma, a possible concussion, but he was in stable condition.
