Environment Canada has issued a TORNADO WARNING for Gatineau, Kanata, Ottawa North to Orleans.

(The warning has now ended for Renfrew, Arnprior and Calabogie.)

Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that could possibly produce a tornado.

The thunderstorm is currently moving past Arnprior.

The thunderstorm is moving eastward at about 60 km/h and is likely also producing damaging winds and large hail.

Environment Canada warns that This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation, urging people to take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. If you hear a roaring sound or see a funnel cloud, swirling debris near the ground, flying debris, or any threatening weather approaching, take shelter immediately.
