The victim in Ottawa's newest shooting investigation isn't cooperating with police, leaving officers in the Guns and Gangs unit in an increasingly familiar, and frustrating, situation.
They're seeking your help to find out what happened to the man who took himself to hospital yesterday suffering gunshot wounds to both legs.
Police say he arrived at hospital around 3:30 yesterday morning but they don't know when or where the shooting took place.
This incident comes after a 24-year-old man was shot in both thighs on June 22 in the ByWard Market. He didn't cooperate with police either.
Anyone with information in either case is asked to call the Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs section at 613-236-1222 ext. 5050 or phone Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477 (TIPS) or toll free at 1-800-222-8477.
