If you live or work in Gatineau, you may have to make some changes to your commute for the summer.
Construction crews are doing repairs and repaving the intersection of Alexandre-Taché and Saint-Joseph; that work is expected to take two months.
The first stage, which started Monday and is supposed to wrap up in early August, requires the complete closure of Saint-Joseph between Alexandre-Taché and René-Roger and traffic on Alexandre-Taché is down to one lane in each direction.
During the second stage, which is slated to begin next month and end September 1, traffic on Saint-Joseph and Alexandre-Taché will be down to one lane in each direction.
There are detours in place, but the city is warning drivers to expect delays.
