Weapon, ammo and drugs seized, six charged from raids in Nepean, Barrhaven

Drug and weapons charges have been laid from a series of Ottawa Police raids in Nepean and Barrhaven.

The Tactical Team was involved in the execution of three Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrants on Meadowlands Drive, Fieldrow Street and Roberta Crescent on Friday.

Officers seized an automatic Colt handgun with a fully loaded magazine, 423 rounds of various ammo, close to $5,000 worth of marijuana, cocaine and cannabis resin, and more than $40,000.

25-year-old Abdulaziz Muffareh, 22-year-old Nasser Muffareh, 35-year-old Nicole Larabie and a young offender face various weapons charges.

Abdulaziz Muffareh also faces drug charges along with 20-year-old Fawaz Muffareh and 29-year-old Kevin Bergeron.

This is the second time in less than three weeks that the Ottawa Police Drug Unit has recovered handguns and ammo during a warrant execution.

If they found a Lebman 1911 I would definitely make sure that is sent to a museum, the only automatic Colt handgun...

Also the extra adjective "fully" is not needed. The better sentence would be: "with a loaded magazine".
