Council OKs Farmers' Market return, heritage protection for Horticulture Building

Familiar components at Lansdowne Park will soon return to normal.

City council is approving the required licence for the Ottawa Farmers' Market, which currently operates at Brewer Park due to the ongoing construction.

Councillors are also green-lighting reinstating the heritage status of the 100-year-old Horticulture Building.

It was stripped of its provincial protection so it could be moved 140 metres to the east as part of the redevelopment.
