Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday for the Kraft Celebration Tour and your vote could help a local group win $100,000.
The Miracle League of Ottawa wants to use the money to help build a baseball diamond and playground in Navan for kids with special needs.
Mayor Jim Watson said a diamond like this would help kids like 11-year-old Bryce, who has cerebral palsy, play the game that they love.
"When you look at a baseball diamond, you realize if you're in a wheelchair, it's really tough to go around the bases because those wheels are not meant for grass and sand and so on," said Watson. "When I first met Bryce, just seeing this beautiful young boy and his love of sport and his desire to be like any other kid in the community, it really pulled on your heartstrings."
The entire project will cost around $1.3-million. So far the Miracle League of Ottawa has raised around $700,000.
