If you think it's been a really dry summer, you're not alone, but you're not right either.
Environment Canada says you might have the wrong idea of what this summer's weather has been like because of when the rain is falling.
David Phillips with Environment Canada says we've actually gotten more rain than usual, but this summer all that rain fell on weekdays.
"Just because the weekends have been dry," he said. "You've seen in other years where precipitation is way down, it just seems to rain on the weekend numbers."
Phillips says it's been a good summer for the area's farmers as well, and says the cooler-than-normal temperatures plus the good amount of rain has kept this year's crop green.
