Police nab suspect who allegedly robbed gas station three times

Ottawa Police have charged a 25-year-old man who they say robbed the same gas station kiosk three times in less than a week.

Police say the man entered the store on Somerset near Bronson on July 24th, 27th and 30th.

Each time he was carrying a knife and made demands for cash and cigarettes. In all cases he fled with cash. He only got cigarettes in one case.

Police apprehended the man on August 1st, after he reportedly returned to the gas bar and was recognized.

Adam Meathrell has been charged with three counts each of robbery and possession of a weapon.
