Gatineau police make arrests in two armed robberies

Gatineau Police have arrested two people following a pair of gas station robberies early Thursday morning.

The first incident took place just before 1 a.m. at an Ultramar on Masson Street, where a man entered an demanded money from the cashier.

The second took place less than two hours later at an Ultramar on Greber Boulevard.

In both cases, police were given the same suspect and getaway vehicle description.

Police say they found the vehicle at a nearby hotel and arrested the 45-year-old suspect without incident.

A 25-year-old Montreal woman with him was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
