The flags at city sites around Ottawa will be at half-mast on Saturday as part of National Peacekeepers Day.
It's a day to honour and remember past and present Canadian peacekeepers.
This year marks 25 years of contributions to international peace operations.
The flags will be at half-mast from sunrise to sunset on Saturday.
A special ceremony will be held on Sunday for the event.
Police officers from across the country will march from the National War Memorial on Elgin Street to the Peacekeeping Monument on Sussex Drive starting at 11 a.m.
