O-Train service suspended after incident on northbound tracks at Carleton

OC Transpo says O-Train service is suspended because of an incident.

They have begun running an alternate bus route, the 107, between Greenboro & Bayview Stations every 15 minutes.

The train is off the tracks by about a foot at Carleton according to witnesses who posted images to Twitter.

Ottawa Police confirm two wheels of the O-Train are off the tracks. The train was moving slowly at the time as it was coming in to the station at Carleton.

Police were called there at 3:44 p.m. Monday. The train has been evacuated and all passengers are safe.

Paramedics are assessing one person, though, for minor injuries.

People have taken to Twitter, reporting they felt a bang and then shuddering. There's no word yet on what caused the train to come to a halt.

There are no reports of damages.
