More than 75,000 submissions were made in Tim Horton's 'Duelling Donuts' competition and one of the eight finalists chosen is from Gatineau.
Isabelle Scantland Lebel has been baking for years and it was a flavour from her childhood that helped influence her recipe.
Scantland Lebel's recipe is for a white chocolate pistachio donut.
She tells CTV she loved pudding as a child and enjoyed both flavours so she decided to combine them to create the ultimate flavour.
The finalists will have to create their donuts for a panel of Canadian celebrity judges including Jann Arden and Jason Priestley.
The final four will be named and then the public will be able to start voting for their choice.
Voting opens on August 18.
The winner will walk away with $10,000.
