A spokesperson for Justin Trudeau says the Liberal leader's Ottawa home was broken into early Saturday morning.
A statement from the spokesperson says Trudeau was working in Winnipeg at the time of the break-in. His wife, Sophie Giguere-Trudeau was home with the couple's three children, none of whom were harmed. Police have confirmed to CTV News that a threatening note was left behind.
RCMP and Ottawa Police are investigating.
