Police rule out foul play in death of woman whose body was found in Rideau River

Ottawa Police say a post-mortem has found no evidence of foul play in the death of a woman whose body was found in the Rideau River on Tuesday.

It was discovered by a passerby between Vincent Massey Park and Carleton University.

The 31-year-old victim will not be identified.

Officers spent hours combing the scene for evidence.
