Police seek 2 suspects in Hintonburg stabbing

Ottawa Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a stabbing last week in Hintonburg.

The stabbing took place in front of the Carleton Tavern on Armstrong Street around 10:30 p.m. and left the victim with critical injuries.

The first suspect is described as black, around 5'7" and 180 lbs, wearing a dark blue Indianapolis Colts football jersey with the number 44 on it. The name 'Clark' is on the back. He was also wearing a reddish-coloured backpack, Dr. Dre Beats headphones, shorts and runners.

The second man is black, with short curly dark hair and a short goatee. He stands around 6' and weighs around 210 lbs. He was wearing a white shirt, white shorts and casual dark-coloured shoes.

Sgt. Anthony Costantini with Central District told CFRA the incident was caught on camera.

"The male with the Indianapolis Colts football sweater is the main suspect," said Costantini. "He's the person who did the stabbing."

"It was an altercation outside, which appeared to be innocent at the start and then turned into a serious nature," he added.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
