Thousands of hand made ceramic roses, fleurs-de-lis and feathers will be planted on the ground of the Canadian Museum of Nature next year.
"Populace" is one of 14 projects receiving fundind from the Ottawa 2017 Bureau for projects that will highlight the city's creative diversity next year.
Kim Lulashnyk, with the Ottawa Guild of Potters, says they'll be asking for help with the installation.
"Over the course of the year, we'll be engaging high schools, seniors' centres, many of our own potters....to create this sculpture that will be planted on rods on the east side grounds."
The Ottawa 2017 Bureau has handed out a total of 250-thousand dollars worth of funding.
Other projects include theatre pieces, poetry. documentaries and concerts.
