Ottawa Police say a 29-year-old man is facing over a dozen charges after a string of robberies this month.
Police say a business on Waller Street was broken into around 5:45 a.m. May 4. Some cash and a tablet was taken. That same day, around 7:55 p.m., Police say a man wearing a disguise entered a pharmacy on Rideau Street, told cashiers he was armed and told them not to move. He then made a demand for narcotics and left with a quantity of them. Investigators found a knife at the scene.
Next, on May 5, a disguised man entered a pharmacy on Alta Vista Drive around 8:40 p.m. and made a similar demand, fleeing with some narcotics.
No one was hurt in either case.
Finally, some time on May 9, police say a man broke into a business on Mann Avenue and removed cash from the register. Canine units were able to track the suspect to a property on Wiggins Private. Officers were able to stop a taxi that was getting ready to leave, and arrested the man inside.
Donald Graham has appeared in court and is facing multiple counts of breaking and entering, robbery, and forcible confinment, as well as counts of wearing a disguise, carrying a concealed weapon and obstructing a peace officer.
