Ottawa Police have arrested a man believed to be the suspect in a bank robbery from two weeks ago.

Ottawa Police have arrested a man believed to be the suspect in a bank robbery from two weeks ago.

Back on October 11th, police say a disguised suspect went into a bank on the 200 block on Montreal Road and robbed multiple tellers at knifepoint.

Police say a passer-by saw the incident take place and then followed the suspect while calling 9-1-1.

48-year-old Jean Veilette of Ottawa is now facing the following charges:

- Robbery x3

- Disguise with intent

- Possession of a weapon

- Assault with a weapon

- Uttering death threats

- Breach recognizance x2

He's scheduled to appear in court today.
