An early morning fire at a home in Ottawa’s east end is under investigation by the Ottawa Police Arson Unit.
Firefighters were called to 2243 Pagé Road at around 6:30 a.m. Thursday. The two-alarm fire was declared under control before 7:00 a.m. with a loss stop just after 8:00 a.m. The home was unoccupied and no one has been reported hurt.

This is not the first time this year firefighters were called to this address.
In late January, firefighters were called to the same home for an overnight fire. It was deemed suspicious and Ottawa Police say remains under investigation. The same address was also gutted by fire in April 2015.
