Ottawa's first board game cafe is selling off its library of games after closing its doors last week.
The owner of Monopolatte announced in mid-September that September 30th would be their final day, after three years in business.
The owner of the Somerset Street West game cafe told reporters he could not afford to pay his employees or himself a living wage, because business wasn't brisk enough.
In a Facebook post on Monday, Monopolatte said it would be selling off all of its games on a first-come, first-served basis starting on Wednesday afternoon. Four sale dates are planned for this week.
