Ottawa Paramedics are thanking a group of bystanders and touting their bike medic service after a 59-year-old man collapsed in the Byward Market.
They were called to a store on Clarence at about 2:30 Wednesday afternoon.
People at the scene who saw the man collapse immediately began applying CPR, and bike medic Adam Tate was there to apply a defibrillator less than four minutes after the 911 call was made.
The patient is in stable condition in hospital.
