A Canadian athlete, his wife, and a Canadian manager have been arrested in Pyeongchang for stealing a car and drunk driving.
The Canadian Olympic Committee confirmed the incident just after 2:00 a.m. EST Saturday.
Allegedly, the athlete, his wife, and the manager jumped into an idling Hummer in the Hoenggye neighbourhood of Pyeongchang, and then drove it to the Athletes' Village.
The manager was allegedly the one driving the vehicle, while the athlete and his wife were in the back seat.
All three were arrested about an hour after initially stealing the car.
The blood alcohol level of the driver was listed at .160%
All three are still being questioned by the Gangwon Provincial Police.
