In the midst of crackdowns by police, the so-called "prince and princess of pot" have opened a marijuana dispensary in Ottawa.
"Cannabis Culture," run by Marc and Jodie Emery, has set up shop at Bank and James, a short trip away from Parliament Hill.
The pair have several stores in the Toronto and Vancouver areas.
They opened a new outlet in Montreal in mid-December - the following day, police raided the store and charged Emery.
Brantford police raided the Cannabis Culture location in that city last night - at least one person was charged.
Jodie walked to Parliament Hill today to call for the rapid decriminalization of weed.
The Liberal government has pledged to legalize marijuana, but draft legislation isn't expected until April.
