The man accused of trespassing in various local businesses is now facing legal trouble and a budget crunch.
Ottawa Police charged Jay Ethier, 26, with five counts of trespassing this week for the '24 hour challenge' videos posted on YouTube.
When You Tube got wind of the charges, all the videos on Ethier's channel 'Jay Station' were demonetized.
Ethier took to the internet posting another video on Thursday night complaining about the charges and the block on his You Tube funds just days after he chose to quit his job.
"That's costing me thousands of dollars guys. I can't put a new video out and monetize it anymore," he said. "I can't do that and that's costing me even more money guys"
He explained that he has been speaking to lawyers to try and reverse the decision.
Ethier said he wants to continue to make videos and so he decided to start up another channel that he hopes will have the same following and value.
The Jay Station channel currently has over 360,000 subscribers.
Three other men were charged with trespassing, all four will be back in court next month.
