Ottawa’s tallest building is one step closer to being built.
City Council voted Wednesday to approve a plan for a new development at 900 Albert St., near the Bayview LRT station.
The plan includes three condo towers, one of which would be 65 storeys tall.
That would make it the tallest building in the Capital.
The development would also include 1,241 apartments, 25 per cent of which are expected to be affordable housing, more than 1,000 parking spaces in six levels of underground parking.
The two other towers included in the development plan will be 56 storeys and 27 storeys.
