An Ottawa Senator who hasn’t played in 18 months will return to the ice Tuesday night.
Sens general manager Pierre Dorion announced Tuesday afternoon that forward Clarke MacArthur will suit up for the team against the Detroit Red Wings at the Canadian Tire Centre.
MacArthur hasn’t played since October 2015, after being sidelined by concussion problems.
Dorion said multiple doctors have cleared MacArthur for play.
MacArthur was hit during training camp ahead of this season and hasn’t played since.
Dorion had previously said the left-winger would miss the rest of the season.
