Federal money for phase two of Ottawa's light rail transit project will officially be firmed up tomorrow.
CTV News has learned Prime Minister Trudeau will make the announcement himself.
This follows up on Mayor Jim Watson indicating in March that $1.15-billion had been set aside in the federal budget.
Phase two of LRT branches out west to Moodie, east to Trim and south to the airport.
The cost - to be split between all three levels of government - is $3.6-billion.
