The federal Liberals have chosen their candidate for the Ottawa-Vanier byelection.
Mona Fortier lives in Ottawa-Vanier and has sat on the board of directors for the Montfort Hospital.
The byelection will be to replace longtime MP Mauril Belanger who passed away last summer after a battle with ALS.
No election date has been set in the riding that's been Liberal since 1974.
