Ottawa Fire crews battled a house fire at a home at 543 Seyton Drive in Bells Corners overnight Sunday.
They say the homeowner called just before 12:30 a.m. reporting the fire.
Firefighters say crews quickly contained the fire to the wall and ceiling area around the chimney.
The blaze was brought under control just before 1:30 a.m.
No injuries were reported, and a fire investigator is allegedly not required for this incident.
