Ottawa Firefighters say they were contacted Monday night about a man who had suffered serious burns, but they don't know where it happened.
Firefighters said in a news released they were contacted by Ottawa Paramedics about a fire-related injury at a home on Cheryl Road, near Woodroffe and West Hunt Club, around 7:05 p.m. Monday. The patient had suffered serious burns to his face and upper body. Paramedics transported him to hospital.
However, Ottawa Fire Communications officials told CFRA they found no evidence of a fire on Cheryl Road and they don't know where the man sustained his burns.
