A former University of Ottawa Health Services doctor is facing new sexual assault charges.
Ottawa Police say 56-year-old Vincent Nadon, of Chelsea, has been charged with 10 new counts of sexual assault involving 10 alleged victims, all of whom are female.
Nadon was first charged with voyeurism and sexual assault in mid-January, after police investigated a complaint from a female patient who had said she was being surreptitiously recorded during an exam at the Rideau Street clinic.
The University of Ottawa said at the time that they took steps to bar Nadon from practicing at University health clinics upon being notified of the initial charges.
All 10 of the new charges are connected with Nadon’s former medical practice, police confirm, but police were not able to immediately say how far back the allegations stretch.
Nadon is due in court Wednesday.
Investigators are concerned that there could be other victims.
