Ontario Provincial Police say motorists on Highway 401 should expect delays as crews clean up four separate tractor trailer crashes on the highway.
An overnight snowfall left roads slick Thursday morning, especially between the Maitland and Prescott exits.
The first crash was reported at around 6:30 a.m., the other three at around 8:15 a.m., all in that stretch of road. In each case, the tractor trailers had veered off the highway.
No one was reported hurt.
Lanes were briefly closed for the investigations but have since reopened.
Police are still warning of possible delays, however, and are advising drivers to adapt to the road conditions.
