A new freezing rain warning is in effect, just a day after a freezing rain warning ended.
Environment Canada says overnight snow or ice pellets will change to freezing rain Sunday morning, making roads and sidewalks slippery. We can expect “several hours” of freezing rain before it becomes rain as the temperature rises.
Environment Canada suggests the earlier snow and ice pellets will mitigate some of the ice glazing on bare surfaces.
But it’s still a good idea to take care when walking or driving.
