Environment Canada has upgraded its special weather statement for the storm expected on Boxing Day:
We're now under a freezing rain warning for Monday.
Another "Colorado low" system is expected to bring lots of freezing rain to eastern Ontario: in that, we'll see snow, freezing rain, and ice pellets, Environment Canada it'll be mostly freezing rain for us.
The system will make its way to the Ottawa Valley late morning and afternoon on Monday.
Environment Canada says the system will change to rain in the early evening.
They're asking travellers to take this storm into consideration for their post-Christmas plans.
