Government workers will be returning to their jobs in Gatineau on Wednesday.
As flood waters start to recede, the municipal and federal governments have announced that offices, which have been closed since Monday, will reopen Wednesday morning.

Further, the Treasury Board of Canada says federal employees who cross the Ottawa River to get to work can now return.
Schools in the des Draveurs, portages-de-l'Outaouais and Western Quebec boards are also reopening Wednesday.
There has been no announcement yet from the provincial government.
