Canadian pop-rock band Hedley has announced it will take an indefinite hiatus after completing their current tour.
This comes after dozens of sexual misconduct allegations were levied against members of the band on both social media and news reports.
Last week, CBC published an account by one Ottawa woman accusing the band's frontman Jacob Hoggard of a violent sexual assault.
The band says it will continue this tour to its end but take some time after it to "work on our personal relationships and who we are as individuals." The statement posted on Twitter yesterday evening says "no excuses are going to be made by any of us. We clearly has some soul searching to do."
